what im looking forward to this fall
It crept up on me, but now September’s crisp air drifts in, full of possibility, as I open my windows each morning. There's something about the way autumn whispers its arrival that feels comforting and familiar. This year, I find myself yearning for those cozy, nostalgic moments more than ever. I miss quiet nights spent under blankets, reading by candlelight with a steaming mug of tea in hand. I long to step outside into the foggy mornings, where the streets are cloaked in a soft haze and leaves drift down in hues of amber and gold. Autumn has arrived, and I’m looking forward to every small moment it brings.
here’s the fall moments im looking forward to this year:
cozy mornings reading in bed
decorating my apartment for fall and halloween
baking cinnamon rolls, muffins, pies, and cookies
making an autumn playlist
keeping up with my planners and calendars
making apple cider
lighting candles (and hopefully making candles of my own)
knitting and crocheting for winter
layered outfits, cozy sweaters, and chunky scarves
dark and foggy mornings
classical music in the background of my days
collecting pretty leaves
afternoon naps
painting and sketching
playing cozy video games
journaling, blogging and writing daily
binging my favorite tv shows
going out to cafes and bookstores
warm baths
taking walks in the falling leaves
bringing notebooks with me everywhere to write down my thoughts
messy hair and claw clips
reading magazines
apple, pumpkin, and cinnamon everything
board games and card games by candlelight
